Garoma Marathon is one of the longest-running open water swimming races in the Czech Republic. Since its first edition, it has attracted thousands of swimmers from across the country and abroad.

The race is organised by VSK Univerzita Brno and takes place annually at the scenic Brno Reservoir. Clean water, excellent organisation and a friendly atmosphere – these are the values that define Garoma Marathon.

The race is part of the Czech Open Water Swimming Cup and every year attracts the best swimmers from all age groups.

Czech Championship 2026 – The 10 km race is this year's Czech Championship in open water swimming. After approx. 25 years, the Championship returns to Brno!
